DC Comics Teases Looney Specials!

DC Comics is teasing new team-ups! Back in December DC Comics announced that in March 2017 they will have crossover annuals that will feature back-up previews of the next wave of Hanna-Barbera titles. This new set of teaser images shows some of our favorite DC Comics characters teaming-up with some of our favorite Looney Tunes characters, with the May 2017 solicitations coming out soon, DC Comics could announce a similar crossover annual/special theme for May.

The titles include: Batman/Elmer Fudd, Jonah Hex/Yosemite Sam, Lobo/Road Runner, and Martian Manhunter/Marvin The Martian.

DC Comics' Hanna-Barbera line re-imagines the classic characters with an updated look and themes. The line has proven to be an overall success for DC Comics, enough so that a new wave will be launching soon that includes Snagglepuss. This announcement has me wondering other than a possible crossover annual/special in May, could DC Comics use these crossovers to launch a new Looney Tunes line in the same vein as their Hanna-Barbera line?
